Our team specializes in mitigating extremely urgent cases where, without intervention, foreclosure is imminent. At a minimum, our advocates are usually able to postpone the sale date of the property and gain valuable time to avoid foreclosure.

If individuals are having problems paying their credit card bills they may be candidates for FSI’s debt management program.  FSI's licensed counselors do budget coaching and facilitate agreements with creditors to establish a repayment schedule that typically lowers the client’s interest and debt payments to a manageable level to permit them to re-establish credit and get out of debt within five years.

Counselors in this program ensure that at risk, low income individuals use their monthly income to pay for shelter, food and clothing and sustain housing.  With their necessities paid these clients live as functionally independent and as comfortably as possible within the means of their limited income.

Our 16-week program serves individuals who have experienced violence in the home. Treatment is both evidence-based and trauma-informed. Clients are seen individually or in a group setting.

Our program provides the skills to manage anger in a healthy way and the tools necessary to communicate thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a manner that is appropriate and acceptable.

Anger management is a 16-week, evidence-based curriculum with the primary objective of clarifying the individual's response to anger and emphasizing respect and cooperation among all members in a family environment. Perpetrator counseling focuses on similar objectives and is a 26-week program of court approved curriculum.
